Winter pre wedding Shoot | Chris and Zofia

Winter pre wedding shoot

Back in December I had the pleasure of meeting up with Chris and Zofia for their winter pre wedding shoot.  It was a typical December afternoon cold, wet and extremely windy!  But the weather wasn't going to bother these two, so we jumped into my car all prepared with wellington boots and we drove out to a small private woodland, I had found ( I had permission from the gamekeeper) which still had some remaining colour of Autumn left. Not a lot but it was enough to inject some colour into the photographs on a cold winters day.

I actually went for a drive on the previous day so I had a nice location for my lovely couple.  A lot of planning goes into an engagement shoot, I do like to do some research and find some nice spots.  Especially if you're not having your pre wedding shoot at the wedding venue you're getting married at.  So we pulled up at the gates to the forest and we all put on our wellies. Just a simple walk in the woods, of course I knew where I was going and headed straight to some ferns I had spotted which were still orange and yellow allowing Chris and Zofia to pop in the image rather than a boring old green and dark forest.

We made our way back towards the car and stopped at several spots until we got back to the main entrance area,  we were lucky enough to see a gorgeous woodcock flying through the forest.  But that wasn't until it actually flew out giving us all a shock, but still I'm sure it was more surprised than us. Chris and Zofia were a pleasure to work with and we had such a good laugh. Especially with Chris showing us his catalogue poses, something to look forward to on the wedding day.

Planning to get married at Delbury Hall?

But on a serious note I'm really looking forward to photographing the wedding day which will be held at Delbury Hall in Diddlebury where I'm a recommended supplier.  I hope you enjoy browsing through this post and the rest of my website. If you're considering a Shropshire wedding or even further afield and you love what I do and my style.
