Today I’m at Ludlow Castle for the fantastic wedding of Shelley and Paul, it’s always nice to work in my home town. It’s looking to be a beautiful day with glorious sunshine and blue skies, what else would a bride want on her day apart from the love of her life of course. Both Bride and Groom are staying in the Ludlow Castle apartments, the bride in the The Prince Arthur & Catherine of Aragon suite, the Groom in The Comus apartment so all nice and easy to go back and forth for preparation pictures.   The wedding ceremony is being held in the Beacon Room with a marque  reception outside adjoining the Beacon Room.

So with a magical ceremony with plenty of giggles Shelley and Paul are now Husband and Wife, and it’s time to celebrate out in this beautiful sunshine. Starting off with drinks and canapés, I have to say it was is an amazing day to be married in Ludlow Castle or any castle. I do wonder how many weddings Ludlow Castle has seen in its day since 1086 if only walls could talk!

Time for some speeches with lots of laughter and the odd tear, it was time for the wedding breakfast. The Castle was now closed to the public so I could take Shelley and Paul into the grounds without the general public photo bombing the pictures, which they do!  So with a few shots in the bag I decided to do try something different from my normal shots I take. I did some OCF which is off camera flash which is something I want to do more of.
