Just back in from a fantastic engagement shoot with Jemma and Thomas, we decided to start their engagement shoot up Whitcliffe overlooking Ludlow and the Castle and  St Laurence’s Church where they will be getting married in September. This particular  evening was looking promising, yet not alot of clouds about so I knew it was going to be strong contrasty light, so some nice portraits with little sky was in need.  We ventured up to Mortimers Forest enjoying our evening walk around one of the marked routes not that far from the car park.  The warm summers light was breaking through the trees, to good an opportunity to miss! So a few pictures amongst the back drop of the forest and the remaining foxgloves and we headed on over to Wigmore  castle to see if we could get some shots in the setting sunlight with a couple of stops on the way.

Below a selection from our shoot. If you’re looking for a local wedding photographer near Ludlow or Shropshire area then please get in touch, I’m more than happy to show you my sample work.
