Today as a Ludlow Wedding Photographer I’m happy to say that I’m photographing a wedding of two special people, the Groom Tony is a good friend who I have known for and worked with over the past years. Abi, well I have watched her grow up into the beautiful women she is today, you see I have worked part time for Abi’s father in his butchers shop in Ludlow ( D.W.WALLS & SON) since the age of 14 on and off over the years, so pretty much 90% of everyone at the wedding I know. I was asked if I found it harder to photograph a wedding where I knew a lot of the people. I simply answered, no.

Being a Ludlow wedding photographer I headed a short distance away to Craven Arms for the bridal preparations, everyone was in great spirits and the weather was looking pretty good. The morning was an explosion of  lots of laughter and some tears so with the morning preparations done it was that important time to head to St Thomas Church, Halford a stones throw away. The service was to the usual standard with a vicar who was a right character and amazing when it came down to photography, which is pretty awesome considering the usual restrictions on what can be photographed.  The service over, everyone made their way to Elm Lodge in Ludlow for the reception. Drinks and canapés were steadily flowing while everyone had a right good catch up followed by some family shots and then onto the speeches and wedding breakfast.

I have to say the day had many special moments for me, especially the bride and Father moment and many more to mention, I won’t go on too much and let you look at just some of my favourite shots from Tony and Abi’s  big day.

If you’re looking for a Ludlow wedding photographer I would be more than happy to sit down and have a chat over a coffee.  For more details about my service please get in touch.
