The Salwey Arms is situated on the outskirts of Ludlow, in Woofferton. It’s on the main route to Hereford or Shrewsbury, making it in an ideal location for your wedding and easy for guests to find. I’ve had the privilege of being a Salwey Arms wedding photographer several times over the years, and it’s always a pleasure to return.
Weddings at the Salwey Arms
In this traditional pub with a relaxed atmosphere, there’s space for up to 70 guests for a sit-down meal, or 120 for a cocktail reception. If you’ve got a bigger wedding in mind, then the Salwey Arms also has a garden to the side that is big enough for you to have a brilliant marquee wedding. It amazes me how stunning they make it for each couple, the décor here is really top notch. I’ve got to mention the food too, with local produce from Herefordshire beef and Ludlow sausages, to Shropshire cheeses – mouth wateringly good!

The atmosphere for weddings at the Salwey Arms is always nice and relaxed, which is perfect for documentary style wedding photography. I enjoy working with likeminded clients who just want to enjoy their day with their friends and family. I’ll be right in the action, capturing all the emotion and everyone enjoying themselves.
