Blists Hill Victorian Town Wedding

Blists Hill Victorian Town wedding

Blists Hill Victorian Town Wedding – Blists Hill victorian town is a real working town, complete with shops, bank and a public house. Nestled at the bottom of the town you will find a traditional funfair.  The Refreshment Pavilion is opposite the funfair and by day is a Victorian tea room. Licensed for Civil Ceremonies, it makes the perfect venue for a vintage styled wedding such as Natalie and Ian’s. This wedding was so much fun, the day started at the front gates.

West Midlands wedding photography – Unique wedding venue

Natalie and Ian arranged for everyone to meet at the front gates, following this everybody had full access to Blists hill and roam around at there leisure. Guess where everybody headed to! Yep, you got it! The New Inn public house, even with its charming rooms it’s really ideal for small groups. But with dry and warm weather the beer garden is ideal for a couple of pre-wedding drinks.

Ceremonies at Blists Hill are held from 5pm, so a Summer wedding is advisable so you can make most of the town and the funfair. After the wedding ceremony, all the guests had exclusive use of the funfair. Great for pictures and also great for a relaxed wedding day.  Blist’s Hill town was completely empty by now, closed to the general public. Ideal for taking some time out for bride and groom portraits.

Natalie and Ian’s wedding totally rocked in so many ways, with such a unique wedding day. It was a real pleasure to be their Blist Hill wedding photographer.
