Fishmore Hall wedding- Kelly and Richard
Kelly and Richard had been planning their Fishmore Hall wedding for a long time, starting when they were both living in New Zealand, and continuing when they moved back to the UK. As a result, everything including the pre wedding shoot and other meetings were all scheduled well in advance. The effort they went to certainly showed on the day - I love it when a plan comes together!
Getting ready
On the morning of Kelly and Richard’s wedding at Fishmore Hall, Richard was getting ready on the top floor, and Kelly was having her hair styled and doing her make up on the first floor. The guests arrived in a vintage bus supplied by Boultons Coaches
The ceremony
Richard and Kelly really wanted a chilled-out wedding day full of laughter, fun, and I have to add… some tears! Richard and his best man waited patiently for Kelly and her mum to walk down the aisle, with lots of emotion and nerves. When they finally said I do, the ceremony was followed by a good old sing song! Straight after the service, we grabbed some confetti shots and formal photos outside Fishmore Hall, so their guests could then just get on with enjoying the day.
Couple Portraits
Next on the agenda was to take Kelly and Richard for their couple shoot as newlyweds. If you’re not familiar with Fishmore Hall, it doesn’t have huge grounds to take pictures in. This is one of the reasons Kelly and Richard had booked me, because of my knowledge of ‘local hotspots’ to take my couples to. Having done landscape photography prior to weddings, and having searched the local lanes, I know all the best views! So, it was a quick little mystery tour for the happy couple, who are great fans of the outdoors.
Fishmore Hall Wedding Reception
We returned from our adventure for the wedding breakfast, which kicked off with speeches from the mother of the bride, followed by Richard and his best man. We then headed out to a beautiful viewpoint overlooking Ludlow, for a short photo shoot, getting back before any of the guests had time to miss them.
They cut their cheese wedding cake, supplied by the Mouse Trap cheese shop in Ludlow and then had their first dance (complete with lots of lots of fancy footwork and twirls!). All in all, it was a perfectly planned day with their family and friends, to celebrate their marriage and have a great party. Congratulations and thanks for trusting me as your Fishmore Hall wedding photographer
