Delbury Hall is the second wedding of this week, arriving at Delbury Hall in beautiful sunshine is always a pleasure and today was more so as Claire and Luckson will be having an outdoor service in the newly licensed pagoda.  The grounds are simply looking gorgeous with fresh roses in bloom, the ponds glistening in the sunshine and fountains flowing, it really does put you into the spirit of celebrating a wedding.

Claire was already getting pampered when I arrived.  Jo from Ludlow Beauty Centre was doing the bridal party make up.  Always wanting to be creative with my shots it was the ideal situation to get Jo to help me out with the dress shots.  Also a family friend had brought along his classic car Morgan for Claire to arrive in.  All the morning preparations went well and Luckson had arrived with family and friends.  I’m so glad the weather today is beautiful as the majority of guests had flown a long distance from Zambia, and they can see Delbury Hall in all its glory as a Georgian mansion should be seen.

Everyone all sat down and waited patiently for Claire to be walked down the aisle with her dad.  Luckson was waiting nervously, first of all the bridesmaids made their way followed shortly by Claire.  After the service Claire and Luckson were having a blessing at St Peter’s Church in Diddlebury which is a short walk away via adjoining pathway from Delbury Hall grounds.  afterwards everyone enjoyed the outdoors and Claire and Luckson had chance to relax with their guests.

Today the speeches are before the wedding breakfast followed by the cake cutting, then an evening photo shoot around Delbury Hall grounds and the first dance.
