I’ve been looking forward to being Hannah and Wayne’s Cardington wedding photographer since we met up for their engagement shoot back in April which was a lot of fun in the snow. Hannah and Wayne came across Cardington village near Church Stretton one summers day, while out on a drive through the Shropshire countryside and they both instantly fell in love with it’s charming character. Hannah and Wayne got married the day before at Shrewsbury registrar office because the marque was not licensed to perform a wedding service, but that was just the legal stuff the real wedding was today with such a personal service and family members involved in the special service and with Wayne in his Navy uniform looking the part and lets not forget the best man in his army uniform ( There was no rivalry!) The day went so smoothly and with all the details that Hannah and Wayne had put into this day was remarkable even down to making there own confetti out of hole punched paper and even their own wedding favours.

After the service and abit of a mingle with guests and of course some family photos it was time for afternoon tea in the village hall for some refreshments and speeches. Everyone made me feel so welcome I felt like I was a guest at a friends wedding which is great for me because everyone just feels relaxed and I can get more natural images.

Below are a selection from this fantastic Cardintgton Wedding day and I wish Mr and Mrs Mitchell all the happiness in the world.
