Shobdon wedding photographer. Today’s wedding is followed with a marque reception at Chris’ family farm and where Catherine and Chris live.  The day was yet again another fine summer day with glorious sunshine.  For me being a Shropshire based wedding photographer it’s becoming more frequent for me photographing weddings in Herefordshire, which is great as I’m only 10 miles away.

So the day followed with starting out at the farm with Catherine and her bridesmaids for some preparation sheets following the service at Shobdon Church which from the outside looks like a normal church but inside it’s painted completely white.  Also pretty unique is the long road with an avenue of trees which makes for some fantastic picture opportunities.  After the service, formal shots and confetti shots we headed back to the family farm for the drinks reception.

Catherine had set up a couple of tractors with some bunting for us to do some fun family shots.  With it being such a sunny day we had to deal with the harsh sunlight shining into everyone’s eyes.  Unfortunately moving the tractors and bunting would have taken too long.  So we did what we could with the situation with the group shot i really do like to get high above the guests so I can see everyone.  I was lucky enough to be on a farm and a cherry picker was at hand for use.  After everyone headed into the marque for the wedding breakfast and speeches were to follow the meal.

I would like to congratulate Catherine and Chris and wish them all the best in the future.  Thanks for letting me capture your wedding day.  If you’re having a country wedding and are looking for a Shobdon wedding photographer in Herefordshire or Shropshire.  Then don’t hesitate and get in touch here.
