It’s the start of yet another busy August, my first wedding of the month is at Lyde Arundal which will be my first time to shot a wedding reception at the venue.  The start of the day saw me at Cathy’s parents house for bridal preparations in Hereford.  A church service at St James Church in Hereford city which is only 5 minutes away from Cathy’s parents.

Cathy and Carwyn’s wedding was full of finishing touches such as a full welsh choir and releasing doves outside of the church just to name a few.  Onwards to Lyde Arundal from church which is just outside Hereford on the Canon Pyon road and only 15 minutes away.  The reception room was absolutely stunning and the attention to detail was superb from beautifully arranged flowers to a hand carved welsh dragon!

The reception was in full swing, with welsh cakes being served up as canapés which were especially ordered from Caernarfon Castle.  By this time the sun had decided to shine so I grabbed the opportunity to do the family shots.  With the sun making a show everyone stayed in the gardens which was ideal for some candid shots.  I have to say i had such a great time at Cathy and Carwyn’s Lyde Arundal wedding with some very funny moments during the speeches and some awesome shots around Lyde Arundal grounds and finishing off the first dance in style.
