Documentary wedding photography

Documentary wedding photography are moments captured that often past you by during your wedding day.  A fleeting moment missed forever.  I love to capture these images for me they look their best represented in black and white which is a match made in heaven.

Documentary wedding photography

Photo journalistic, reportage is also the same style.  It’s when often a photographer such as myself who takes photographs during a wedding using an alternative approach rather than the traditional way.  Smiling at the camera and posing!   I’d prefer to wait and capture the day spontaneously to emphasize moments and emotion.

My style of wedding photography

This is when my love for landscape photography steps in creating stunning images of you in the surrounds of your wedding venue or location which you have taken time to find or that is special for you.

I find that 80% of couples just want their wedding day captured in this style with some family portraits often known as group shots.  During your wedding day I will take you both away for some time for you to reflect on the day.  Allowing you to be yourselves, which hopefully means I will capture those true moments.  If your a little shy or unsure what t do I can help with minimal posing but it’s just guidance.

Reportage wedding photographer

My goal is to blend right in with your guests and be as unobtrusive as possible while capturing the reality of your wedding day with little interference and to focus on finding moments during the wedding that happens naturally, rather than setting up to shots.  As you can see my documentary wedding photography shots are taken in black and white.  I personally think the elegance of a classic black and white image is timeless.
